I don’t know about you but I rely on having my phone with me A LOT! Not only do I use my phone to keep in touch with family and friends but my phone also means I can work wherever I need to and whenever I want to. I’m addicted to Apple products and have had an iPhone for a number of years now however I have always found that after about a year, the battery life on my phone begins to decrease and over the course of just a few hours (after being on charge all night long) I end up with no battery left. This causes a few problems as well as obviously being a security issue and with Mia in Preschool 4 mornings a week, it’s very important I can be reached wherever I am. Mario bought me a great emergency charger last year and I keep it in my car ready for anytime I need it, I have used it a number of times and recently charged my phone up in my handbag with it on a trip to Diggerland! However, I don’t always have my car with me and so don’t always have the security of the charger to hand.
That is where Phinexi come in! Phinexi is a brand new tech company based right here in the UK who focus on innovative charging solutions and wireless mobile accessories and devices. They have come up with a solution to a lot of people’s issue of running out of phone battery part way through their day. They have designed a phone case that not only protects your phone from damage but also charges your phone at the touch of a button! Their ground-breaking iPhone charging cases are the slimmest on the market and ensure that you have battery everywhere you go and in the most stylish way possible. Now I have to say, I was slightly dubious when they contacted me about their new phone cases, I wasn’t sure that something so important could be put into a small enough case for it to be practical and useful. How wrong I was! Weighing only 73gms to the weight of your phone and 2mm length, the phone charging case is one of the sleekest and most attractive looking I have seen in a while!
Opening the packaging, I could already feel that it was going to be a high quality product and was really clear that it looked just like any other phone case. Each case is made from a medical grade silicone so not only does it feel great to hold, protect your phone from damage but it also insures zero interference with signal and Wi-Fi whilst in use. The case itself is only available in black at the moment however because it is so sleek and slim, it looks great on my iPhone! The phone feels nice to hold and not bulky or ugly at all. Turning the case over, the pretty heart charging button is hidden right at the bottom, barely noticeable. Pop the case onto your phone as you would any other case and plug your charging cable into the bottom to charge up the case and phone. Then when your phone is running low on battery, just press the heart button twice (so it’s not easily knocked by accident) and the 5 charging lights indicate your phone is charging! I’m really impressed by how quickly the case charges back up to 100% battery and with the 2400mAh battery capacity within the case, it adds 140% to your battery life meaning you can get through your day without the need to find a plug socket!
I haven’t tested how durable the case is if dropped yet but as I tend to be quite clumsy, there is always the possibility of me dropping my phone at some stage! I also don’t know what the battery wear will be like over a longer period of time for both my iPhone and the charging case itself but it certainly looks like it is in it for the long-haul! Currently available for the iPhone 6 and 6s for £44.99, with the iPhone 7 version ready for pre-order, I’m seriously considering not taking my iPhone upgrade in May as I love the Phinexi phone charging case! It would be great to see some more colour options designed so I don’t get fed up with the same black case for the duration of my 2 year phone contract however the case has been used from the very first day and I now have a full phone battery wherever I am and whatever I’m doing!
