We are Ready for School with Term School Shoes

Term-Shoes-Box.jpg

We have been busily getting Mia ready for school over the last 6 weeks and although I never realised how much of a nightmare it would be getting her uniform (that’s another story!) the last thing we needed to do was get Mia her school shoes. I took her a few weeks ago to get her feet measured at Clarks as it’s been a long while since we last got her measured so I knew what size we needed however the factory shop near us only had 1 type of girls shoe in Mia’s size and I wanted to see what else was out there for her. We have previously worked with Term reviewing their lovely selection of wellies so when they got in touch again to see if we would like to review their new range of school shoes, Mia was really looking forward to choosing her very first pair of school shoes!

Term School Shoes

Term Footwear is a UK brand who have created shoes and boots for children that not only look great but are good for their feet too! Term Footwear was founded in 2010 and since then have joined together with experienced UK designers to make shoes and boots with great comfort, design and fit. You can see their new video ‘A Day in your Shoes’ to see their shoes in full school day action! The great thing about Term shoes is that they combine high quality and comfort as well as being suitable for young feet to grow healthily. Mia really liked quite a few designs but she finally settled on the Term Zara shoes as they have a butterfly on them and she loves butterflies at the moment!

The Term Zara school shoes are brand new, touch fastening girl’s shoes. Designed for active girls, a secure criss-cross strap with touch fastening ensures that the Zara is a robust school shoe that fits securely and appeals to girls with its feminine style. The shoe itself is made from high grade leather for comfort and breathability and the leather is double dyed through so that it can be easily polished after wearing. A soft padded mesh cushions the foot and heel helping to avoid initial blisters that new shoes sometimes cause. The ordering process is really easy and if you find, for whatever reason, that the shoes don’t fit well then you can arrange to have them replaced really easily. There is a size guide on the website to help you decide which size you need so we ordered a size 9 as Mia is an 8 ½ with a high instep so she needs a bit more room in her footwear.

We were really impressed with the Zara shoes when they arrived. They are really pretty; feel and look really well made and look like they will last Mia for a long while yet! As well as this, they look really smart and she will definitely stand out at school with them on! The Term Zara shoe is available from a child’s size 7 and currently priced at £39.99, they are a lovely shoe with a really pretty style. Mia absolutely loves them and can’t wait to pop them on for her 1st day at school this week!
