As a mummy, I know one of the hardest baby product decisions is which of the hundreds of buggies out there is the perfect one for you?! Not only do you normally choose one before baby actually arrives; you need to think about style, colour, wheels, covers, carry-cots, car seats, adapters, storage, umbrellas, whether it fits in the boot, etc.… and it can all seem a little overwhelming! Here is our Maxi-cosi Mura 3 Buggy Review but if you are looking for something smaller, I also wrote about the Hauck Sport Buggy!

When we were 9 months pregnant with Mia we decided to go along to Kiddicare as, at the time, they had hundreds in store for us to test drive. Me and Mario had already researched buggies on-line and decided on a 3-wheeler, as Mario loves walking and we needed a decent buggy that would withstand everyday use, as well as a good walk through the park in any weather.

Once we were in Kiddicare, we quickly narrowed down the choice to just the Quinny Buzz and the Maxi-cosi Mura 3 Buggy purely on looks alone and once we had done a quick test drive and had a full demonstration by a member of staff, we thought the Maxi-Cosi Mura 3 was the one for us.  It felt very stable and strong, able to withstand everyday use and looked really stylish too.

I liked the fact it had easy adapters to put the baby car seat (sold separately) onto as we knew we wouldn’t want to take a sleeping baby out of a separate car seat and carry them into the house, we wanted to keep them snug  and sleep where they were! I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived at the house!

It has a good storage basket underneath, a full buggy rain cover and a tyre puncture repair kit too. It has 3 great real tyre wheels and I have only had to pump them up a few times in the last 19 months.

Putting the buggy together

I used the buggy every single day, in different conditions and it still felt sturdy and able to withstand the usage after 3 years! The only issue I found with the buggy was that it was quite wide, and it didn’t fit in some doorways. It also didn’t fit in my Vauxhall Corsa’s boot very well. Without taking the wheels off (which is easy to do!), I had to take the parcel shelf off and put the buggy seat on the cars back seat (the buggy did fit in my mums Nissan Note however!). We bought a full body muff that fit onto the buggy seat and Mia still fit into it at 19 months old so I would recommend that too. We also still have it on Lottie’s Quinny Moodd!

Finished buggy!

All in all the Maxi-cosi Mura 3 Buggy is great, I loved the feel of it and how easy it was to put up and down. It came with everything we needed as first time parents who didn’t have a clue what to get and the only niggle I ever had with it, was how it doesn’t fold down as small as I would probably have liked.

Ohh it looks fab! I’m a sucker for a buggy review, my son’s big now so I probably won’t be buying another one until I have another baby! It looks good though x

#RVHT (apologies for the late comment, my son has been in hospital and we’re only just home)

This looks fab 🙂 with my first son I had second hand buggy…. a wheel fell off and rolled away in the middle of a busy town – I can see the funny side now 11 years on ha 😉

Thanks for linking up to #PicknMix hope to see you there again tomorrow 🙂

You are so right its such an important decision, we were given a phil and ted last time round but its too heavy for me. This sounds fab. Although I have treated myself to a proper pram attachment this time round something we managed without last time but with having a second I can see me using it more with a preschooler! Great honest review. Thank you for joining us at #BloggerClubUK hope to see you again this week x

Ahh yeah I would pick a different one next time due to the size of this one when folded and how heavy it is to lift but its not something you know to look for particularly the first time round! 🙂

It’s so hard to pick a buggy – there are so many factors. And as first time parents you don’t know what to look for. Sounds like the maxi cosi is a great one – it looks very stylish too. Great honest review! Thanks so much for linking up with #bloggerclubuk x

This is a great review Becca! This is exactly what parents want to read from us bloggers: an honest opinion written by a parent! You have done a great explanation of this product!! We have a Maxi Cossi car-seat but not a buggy. We bought a Bugaboo for Sienna but we have recently changed it for an Maclaren. She loves it!! Thank you so much for joining us at #KCACOLS. I hope you can join us next Sunday! 🙂 xx

Aww thank you! I like to write as if I would be reading it as someone not knowing anything about a product. I wanted a Maclaren but never got round to getting one and Mias too old now…next time! 🙂 thanks for commenting

Brilliant review and I like your honesty. I LOVE our Maxi Cosi car seat and it fits on to our pram base but folding up the base isn’t great for a small car boot sometimes! Thanks for linking up to #KCACOLS and hope to see you back next week! Mim x

I always admired these pushchairs when I saw them out and about. Now my youngest is no longer in her buggy I still think these are such a convenient product! Great review. Thanks so much for linking up! #MMWBH

It is great to see an honest review. With our first daughter we had a large pram that also needed the wheels removed to fit in the boot, but it was awesome for shopping and she was so comfy in it. When my second came along we opted for a 3 wheeler that had a toddler seat, and with my third we went back to a larger buggy as we brought a car with lots of space. Overall we spent way too much, considering most of the time I was carrying them with one hand and pushing the buggy with the other lol. Thanks for linking up and helping out new parents with great advice. #mummyandus

Ahh thanks for commenting! Iam still glad we have the big buggy although we missed the boat a bit and should have bought a stroller a year ago, now Mias not in the buggy at all really but we got our use of it!! 🙂
