The main focus of my blog at the moment is definitely leaning towards diet and fitness and after reviewing the Forza ‘Shake It Slim’ diet, I was really interested when I saw that Forza (an industry leader in weight loss supplements) were looking for bloggers to review their Raspberry K2 tablets! I have researched these tablets before as part of my previous review and I had also seen the negative press that these types of tablets (not Forza’s brand!) have had in the past.

Forza Raspberry K2 tablets are a raspberry based supplement that offers support for those wanting to lose weight alongside a balanced diet and exercise. The Raspberry K2 is Forza’s leading product and has proved extremely popular with celebrities. The K2 tablets have 4 main ingredients; Raspberry Fruit Powder filled with important antioxidants, Caffeine to improve alertness and concentration, Choline contributes to the normal breakdown of fats in the body, and Vitamin K2 supports bone health. They are also suitable for vegetarians.

The advice, which is readily available online as well on the actual tablet bottle is to take 2 tablets in the morning and 1 in the afternoon. However for those sensitive to caffeine then it is advised to start off with 1 tablet a day and increase gradually. I didn’t think I would be sensitive to caffeine (even though I don’t drink coffee?!) however it became apparent straight after taking my 2 tablets on the 1st morning that I was indeed VERY sensitive to caffeine. The effects were quite worrying; light headedness, dizzy, heart beating rapidly, etc… however it was my fault for not starting with 1 tablet! I also took the tablets on an empty stomach and once I had realised, the 2nd day I took 1 tablet after breakfast with a full glass of water and I had no adverse effects at all! I have seen quite a lot of negative comments about the K2 tablets regarding similar experiences and I do believe that this is unfortunate as the Forza website and tablet bottle itself clearly states to start with 1 tablet a day and build it up!

I’m currently following a 12 week fitness and meal plan which I have been losing a lb a week doing however once I started taking the Raspberry K2 supplement 3 weeks ago, I have noticed a definite shift in my weight loss. I’m losing more steadily and my appetite has definitely been suppressed, meaning I’m feeling fuller for longer and not eating as much all in one go! I have been pleasantly surprised as I have been a bit sceptical about such tablets. If your consuming a balanced healthy diet and making sure you exercise, I do believe that these supplements can help support your weight loss and they are worth a try. At £15.99 for 90 Raspberry K2 capsules and available from Tesco, they are really good value and I trust Forza as a brand due to its long-standing history in such supplements. You can also get 10% off all orders by going to Forza and using code FZ6. I will definitely be continuing to take these supplements whilst I’m following my set fitness and meal plan as they are contributing to my successful weight loss in a positive way.

Thanks for the review. I am a bit worried about these as most websites state a max of 400mg caffeine a day but three of these sum 600mg? I’ve taken one tablet per day for two days and feel a bit agitated but its ok, was thinking of taking one in the morning and one at lunch to build up as im still hungry?

Thanks for your comment! Yes the caffeine content is high and that’s what causes some people to find their really sensitive to the supplements. I have been taking them for nearly a month and still only take 1 a day as I find that works well for me and I don’t get the ‘side effects’. As with any supplement/tablet you have to do what works for you and what feels right 🙂

Great balanced review. Personally I don’t like the whole taking tablets thing, but if it works for some and helps then that’s good. Thanks for linking up to the #BinkyLinky

I have to agree and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to give them a go, to see what the ‘craze’ is about them and why people take them. I’m glad I tried them but I wont be carrying them on once I have finished this bottle 🙂

Thanks! It is really clear on the website and bottle that you should only start with 1 tablet and build it up so more my fault 🙂

I’ve always wondered about these, because so often you don’t hear about side effects of all these things. So good to hear the negative/facts as well as tales.

I agree, its one of the reasons I wanted to try them out and also I was intrigued as to see if they actually worked! 🙂

Ooh that doesn’t sound good it made you feel a bit dizzy! #binkylinky

Yes but it clearly tells you not to take 3 capsules a day until your body is used to it 🙂
